The Kossack Stud - News...

The National C-Show Beemster, 2010 was a success for Kossack bred and trained horses. Nashakana Kossack (Aja Shakakhan x Nereska by Veresk) won the class yearling fillies, she won the God Medal Junior fillies and the Prize "Most beautifull head". Big congratulations for her owners Fam. Loots, who bought her last year after the National Championships, where she won the Bronze medal for filly foals.
Second in de class yearling filles and Bronze Medal Champion Junior Filly was Rose of Kunar (Kunar T x Cynthia E.A. by Khidar), bred and owned by Fam. Lommers. Third in this class came a very promising young filly Peshara (Kubinec x Pirouetka), owned by Fam. Peperkamp.
Nashakana's 3/4 sister Naokana Kossack (Aja Shakakhan x Naomi C. Kossack) won her class for 3 year old fillies.
Riquel (Pobeditel x Rigilya by Gil), bred and owned by the Fam. v.d. Horst showed very well, won the class of the 4 years old stallions and the Silver Medal of the Senior Stallions.
We showed our fist Kunar filly, the very pretty, black Prikuna Kossack (Kunar T x Pribaltika by Balaton). She won the Silver Medal for filly foals. Her dam Pribaltika showed in her class for Mares 7-13 years her excellent movements. She was second and won a Bronze Medal for Senior Mares. The Silver Medal was won by our elegant Pentia Kossack (Pobeditel x Popova by Podsnejnik). Her colt Pavlov Kossack by Jai-Rhan Astalik won also a Silver Medal.
Aranik Kossack, last year Senior Champion Stallion and Best of Show, took part for the first time in the ridden class. He won the class for ridden stallions and the overall ridden Championship.
