Import- and Export station for fresh and frozen semen

Today's breeding technology provides horse owners more options than were available in the past. Artificial insemination and semen preservation techniques make it possible to ship stallion semen to mares nearly anywhere in the world. But success with transported semen will depend on the careful reproductive management of both stallion and mare.

The Kossack Stud is an EEC accepted import- and export station for transported fresh (cooled) and frozen semen, no. NL 8496.
We are allowed to send the semen of the stallions who are in our quarantine stables not only in Holland but worldwide.
There are only a few EEC accepted stations in Europe.

The stallions are tested monthly on CEM, Coggins and EVA, and in the beginning of the breeding season we are doing new semen tests. It is a guarantee to the mare-owners that they will receive good quality semen.

When you ordering fresh semen of one of the stallions before 10.00 hours UPS will deliver it the next morning throughout Europe.

We have also the possibility to import and store frozen semen from all kind of stallions all over the world.
